WP1. Setting the scene – Characterizing the existing variation in ungulate communities across Sweden, in terms of the spatial distribution and density of different ungulate species and the characteristics of the anthropogenic landscape they live in. WP2. Trophic interactions – Quantifying trophic interactions in multi-species ungulate systems along gradients of agricultural, forestry and game management practices. WP3. Ecosystem impacts – Quantifying the impact of multi-species ungulate systems on forestry, agriculture and ungulate performance in human-modified landscapes. WP4. Developing & testing management strategies – Using the outcome of above three to develop and test existing and future strategies for the adaptive management of diverse ungulate systems.
